While HP does not provide a single, downloadable PDF user manual for this specific board, key technical details and connection layouts are documented in their support knowledge base and technical reference guides. HP Support Community Core Hardware Features MOBO Manual for Omen Motherboard IPM17-002

The is a widely utilized OEM hardware component found in various pre-built desktop computers, most notably within the Acer Aspire series (such as the XC-780, TC-780, and GX-781). Manufactured by Pegatron, this board serves as a budget-friendly, compact foundation for standard office work, media consumption, and light gaming.

When working with this board, keep these troubleshooting steps in mind.

The IPM17-002 is a compact motherboard typically used in embedded systems or industrial PCs. This guide covers common features, connectors, basic setup, BIOS access, common troubleshooting steps, and safety notes to help you get started.

As confirmed by the IPM17-DD2 documentation, the board supports (e.g., 2x 8GB modules) operating at 2133MHz . Faster DDR4 modules will work but will be down-clocked to this speed.

The IPM17-002 motherboard is built around the Intel P67 chipset, which provides a robust foundation for high-performance computing. The board supports a range of Intel processors, including Core i3, i5, and i7 models, making it an excellent choice for users seeking to build a powerful desktop system.

The IPM17-002 motherboard manual provides detailed instructions for configuring the BIOS settings, including:

Populate both slots with identical sticks (e.g., 2 x 8GB) to enable dual-channel bandwidth, which significantly boosts system responsiveness. 3. Motherboard Layout and Connector Pinouts

Locate the jumper on the motherboard (usually near the coin-cell battery).

That being said, here is a general outline of what a motherboard manual might cover:

Donations

This software is supplied in a binary format ('as is') for free - the source code is not available.

There are many expenses I incur in maintaining the WinGeno project that may not be apparent, such as web hosting costs, and the costs of new operating systems and software I have purchased specifically for writing and testing WinGeno. If you desire, you may send me donations of any amount towards my efforts on keeping the WinGeno project alive.

Although donations received are very much appreciated, those that do make donations do not automatically receive preferential treatment over those that don't.
